Day 6: Don’t have guilt.
It is good to understand and admit that you have done wrong, but to retain guilt serves no useful purpose whatsoever.
Learn from mistakes, strive not to do the same wrong again, but then let it go. Having guilt takes away some of your positive energy, your creative energy, which you could be utilizing to ensure you do not repeat that mistake and rather replace it with something constructive.
Every time you feel guilt or guilty or think, have thoughts of guilt you are wasting both time and energy. No matter what you think, do or say, you cannot erase something that you have done, no matter how unacceptable. Guilt is a negative emotion. It can eat into us and make us listless, apathetic, it can totally immobilize us. Even if not as drastic as that, it reduces our capabilities, our capacity to be constructive and purposeful.
Rather, accept what you have done; make amends, apologies, and atonement to any you may have wronged, if possible, then get on with life with your full capacity of love and positive energy. Whenever you feel guilt coming on, allow yourself to feel it temporarily, know that it serves no purpose, allow it to drift away and replace with loving positive energy and thoughts.
